eRx Network customers begin submitting E1 (eligibility) transactions.
FORT WORTH, TEXAS (December 1, 2005)
eRx Network LLC (eRx), a leading provider of transaction processing and clearinghouse services to retail pharmacies, today announced the launch of the NCPDP 5.1 E1 transactions process. eRx customers will be allowed to submit E1 transactions free of charge through December 31, 2005. Medicare Part D Beneficiaries will begin coverage effective January 1, 2006.
A variety of test cases will be provided for use during testing. Each scenario will better prepare pharmacists for the new Part D Eligibility solution. Existing customers are advised to speak with their account manager or eRx Customer Support in order to begin testing. Customers may also access this information at www.erxnetwork.com.
